Hammonds is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bad Meets Evil - Fast Lane ft. Eminem, Royce Da 5'9. Jay Hammonds is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jay Hammonds!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ed misses with a double jab

and Hammonds counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

ed bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hammonds's guard.

Hammonds is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and ed defends well.

ed looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hammonds with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

ed has Hammonds pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hammonds manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Hammonds has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by ed after a bit of a struggle.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Paul ed.

ed has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Hammonds uses from the top position.

Paul ed very nearly forgot to thank Outkast Clothing Line amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
