Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stanley Wiggins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Matt Mutt!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Skip Squint and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiggins lands a really nice looking cross but Mutt seems unphased.
Mutt fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Wiggins has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Mutt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mutt scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!


It looks like Stanley Wiggins has been cut.

Wiggins tries to keep at a distance but Mutt has taken the fight into the clinch.
Wiggins wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Wiggins tries to circle away but Mutt has him pinned against the cage.
Wiggins stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Mutt breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mutt uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wiggins.
Mutt connects with a good right hand that stumbles Wiggins. Wiggins circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Mutt throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mutt tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wiggins was well out of range. Poor timing from Mutt.
Wiggins misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mutt.
Mutt throws a leg kick that misses.

Mutt closes the distance and pushes Wiggins back into the cage.
Mutt misses with a hook to the ribs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mutt works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Wiggins tries to pull guard but Mutt holds him up against the cage and eventually Wiggins drops back down to his feet.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Mutt.
Wiggins is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A body shot lands from Mutt.
Nice body punch from Mutt - that landed with a thud.
Mutt is working Wiggins over against the cage.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Mutt just misses with a elbow thrown towards Wiggins's brow.

Mutt breaks the clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Wiggins. Mutt does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mutt feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Wiggins's calf.

Mutt rushes Wiggins and presses him up against the cage.
Mutt scores with a shoulder strike.
Mutt stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Mutt manages to break the clinch.
Wiggins takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Mutt has Wiggins up against the cage in a clinch.

Mutt breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Wiggins throws a left and a right that both miss

and Mutt counters by moving into the clinch.
Mutt lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Wiggins.
Still in the clinch, Mutt scores with a nice short uppercut.


Stanley Wiggins's cut is getting worse.
Mutt leaning his opponent against the cage.
Mutt works on Wiggins's body with a couple of short punches.
Mutt lands a nice shot to the body.
Wiggins blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Mutt lands a body punch in the clinch.
Mutt lands a body shot.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Mutt manages to break the clinch.
OH! Wiggins has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Mutt smells blood and charges in for the finish! Mutt unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Wiggins sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Matt Mutt!
