The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Silva throws a head kick that misses.
Fortunado moves into range and connects with a jab.
Da Silva keeps the fight on the outside.
Da Silva throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Fortunado stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Fortunado throws a hook but Da Silva avoids it easily.
Renato Da Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Da Silva misses with a few strikes there.
Fortunado fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Da Silva moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
A left and a right from Fortunado both land. Nice combination.
Da Silva avoids the body shot from Fortunado.

Fortunado drops his hands momentarily and Da Silva takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Fortunado thuds his shin into the meat of Da Silva's side.

Fortunado cracks Da Silva with a left hook right on the temple and Da Silva goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Fortunado lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Da Silva is OK!
