PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keith Elliott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Rampage-PAK. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elliott closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jackson circles away.
Elliott closes the distance and clinches up with Jackson, looking for a takedown. Elliott pushes Jackson against the cage but Jackson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Horrible takedown by Elliott or perhaps it was just good defense by Jackson which made him look bad.
Bobby Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keith Elliott.
Jackson looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Jackson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jackson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Elliott swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Jackson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Elliott is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jackson, into his guard.

Jackson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Elliott has left one of his arms exposed and Jackson doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Elliott screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
