The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jiorgite shoots in looking for a takedown but Naji manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jiorgite's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Jiorgite uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Naji.
Naji throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Naji looks to land a right hand but Jiorgite moved out of range.
Jiorgite misses with a wild combination.
Jiorgite avoids the body shot from Naji.
Naji misses with a looping right.
Jiorgite lands a jab to the nose.
Naji looks to throw the jab but Jiorgite is out of range.
Naji shoots in looking for a takedown. Jiorgite tries to sprawl out of it but Naji keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jiorgite manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Naji scores with the left hand. Jiorgite knows he should have avoided that one.
Naji lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jiorgite backs up against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Naji misses the shot to the body.

Naji darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jiorgite won't allow Naji to pass to mount.
Naji wants to control but Jiorgite is keeping him busy.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Abdul Rashid Naji.
Naji steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jiorgite.
Naji avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Jiorgite throws out a loose jab but Naji uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jiorgite misses with a hook. Naji ducked under it nicely.

Jiorgite gets caught napping as Naji dives in and scores a takedown. Jiorgite manages to retain guard.
Naji passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Naji lands a big shot there that rocks Jiorgite but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

It looks like Greissi Jiorgite has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
