Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lance Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lance Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frank James!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch but James swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
James lands a slapping body shot.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jackson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by James.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but James paws at him with a jab and circles away.
James rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jackson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Frank James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson moves in looking to clinch but James pushes him off.

James is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Jackson just misses with a elbow thrown towards James's brow.
James is trying to force a seperation but Jackson has the dominant position.

Jackson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. James knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Jackson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by James, who protects the arm well.

James is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Jackson off and has taken his back!
James is trying to stick to Jackson's back but Jackson is turning into James. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in James's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Jackson.
Jackson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. James swivels though and keeps the full guard.

James is trying to keep Jackson in close.

Lance Jackson has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

James lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jackson circles away quickly and effectively.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jackson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. James can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

James postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jackson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of James, into his guard.

James is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

I would just about give that final round to Frank James.
