The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bickens throws a lazy uppercut
and Berry counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Bickens drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Berry staying out of range there.
Berry feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bickenss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Bickens doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Berry scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bickens doesn't seem bothered though.
Bickens throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Berry lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looks like Stan Bickens has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Berry counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Berry throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Berry lunges at Bickens with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bickens's hand.

and Bickens takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Bickens throws out a loose jab but Berry uses good head movement to avoid it.

Berry lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Berry jabs at Bickens's body.
Bickens throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A decent looking cross lands there for Berry.
Bickens loads up on a big right hand but Berry slips the punch.
Bickens misses with a hook.
Berry lands with a shot to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Berry bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Bickens takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Bickens thows a body shot but no joy.
Bickens is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Bickens misses with a straight left.
Berry is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

A swing and a miss from Bickens.
Bickens ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Berry moves away.
Mark Berry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Berry dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Berry lands a jab.

Berry lands a big uppercut and Bickens crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Bickens looks OK. Berry waves Bickens back to his feet!

Bickens ducks into an uppercut from Berry and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
