Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dudd Dudd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Frank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jason Frank has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Dudd Dudd's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dudd Dudd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jason Frank!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Kenichi Hosakawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frank digs a good hook to Dudd's body.
Frank lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.


It looks like Dudd Dudd has been cut.
Frank misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dudd stuffs the takedown.
Dudd shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Frank as he jumps to the side.
Some bone on bone action there as Dudd checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Dudd tries to close the distance and clinch but Frank swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dudd Dudd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dudd closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Dudd looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Frank really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dudd. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Dudd tries for a kimura but Frank is defending well.
Dudd moves into full mount!

That's one minute gone in the round.

Dudd is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Frank to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Frank shrugs it off.

Dudd looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Frank has given up his back. Will we see Dudd going for some submissions?

Dudd is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Frank has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Dudd has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Frank taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Dudd doesn't care though - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Dudd Dudd!
