The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Pe. That snapped Twister's head back.

Twister decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Pe gets caught napping as Twister dives in and scores a takedown. Pe manages to retain guard.

Twister tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pe swivels and escapes.
The fighters circle momentarily. Pe darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Pe checks a leg kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Twister ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pe moves away.
Twister moves away from the strike by Pe.
Pe connects with a good right hand that stumbles Twister. Twister circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Twister throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Twister on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Pe moves out of range of the strikes.
Twister is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pe.

Twister shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Pe manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
