Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mark Geek Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drew Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Geek Fighter kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is One More Saturday Night. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Jordan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jordan misses with the combination.
Geek Fighter fails with a takedown attempt.
Geek Fighter has taken the fight to the clinch.
Jordan is trying to push Geek Fighter away but Geek Fighter has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Jordan gets underhooks to prevent Geek Fighter's takedown attempt.
Geek Fighter has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Jordan after a bit of a struggle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Geek Fighter. That's going to take a lot out of him.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Geek Fighter throws a right hand that Jordan ducks under and follows up with a left that Jordan also avoids with ease.

Geek Fighter tries to clinch but Jordan is having none of it.
Geek Fighter misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Mark Geek Fighter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jordan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jordan gets tackled into the cage by Geek Fighter. Geek Fighter maintains the clinch.
Geek Fighter is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Jordan can't fight it off and eventually Geek Fighter manages to take the fight to the floor. Jordan looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Geek Fighter postures up in Jordan's guard and throws a big left but Jordan blocks it.
Jordan wants to get back to his feet but Geek Fighter is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Geek Fighter stands up over Jordan, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Geek Fighter trying to control but Jordan is working from the bottom.
Geek Fighter looking to sit in guard and control but Jordan gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Geek Fighter kicks Jordan off and gets to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Geek Fighter forces Jordan back against the cage and clinches.
Geek Fighter manages to break the clinch.
Geek Fighter shoots in for a takedown but Jordan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Geek Fighter closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Geek Fighter wants a takedown but no success here.
Geek Fighter breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Geek Fighter.
Geek Fighter gets a takedown into half guard.
Jordan looks like he's trying to stand up.
Jordan is defending against the submission attempts here by Geek Fighter.
Jordan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Geek Fighter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Geek Fighter decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

A jab from Jordan does it's job there.
Geek Fighter fails with an attempt to clinch.
Geek Fighter tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jordan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Geek Fighter somewhat.
Geek Fighter misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jordan throws a series of punches but Geek Fighter avoids them all with ease.
Geek Fighter shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jordan sprawls well. Jordan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Geek Fighter gets slowly back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Geek Fighter shoots for a takedown but Jordan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark Geek Fighter dominated that round.

Jordan throws a jab but it's blocked by Geek Fighter.
Geek Fighter drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Jordan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jordan is still in real trouble! Can Geek Fighter finish him?
Geek Fighter with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Geek Fighter fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Geek Fighter is landing with some decent strikes but Jordan is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
You get the feeling that Jordan really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Geek Fighter takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Geek Fighter lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Jordan! Geek Fighter sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Jordan and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
