The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suggs throws a head kick but Husin moves out of range.
Husin walks forward, straight into a front kick from Suggs.
A slapping leg kick lands for Suggs.
Suggs tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Suggs misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Suggs lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Suggs chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Suggs leaves Husin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Husin feints and as Suggs raises his hands in defense, Husin changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Husin tries to free his leg and advance position but Suggs is retaining full guard.
Husin passes Suggs's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Suggs is looking for a sweep. Husin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Husin working over Suggs with some ground and pound. Suggs looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Husin is trying to work for a kimura but Suggs is defending well.
Husin has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Suggs defend it? Husin steps over the head and cranks it - Suggs is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Husin!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Hasan Husin!
In his post fight interview, Hasan Husin started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
