The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Arona rushes Greyjoy and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Nice elbow from Arona.

It looks like Theon Greyjoy has been cut.

Arona's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ricardo Arona seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Arona throws a right and a left that Greyjoy avoids nicely.
Arona throws the kick towards the body but Greyjoy avoids it.
Arona lands with a kick to the ribs.
Arona lands a nice leg kick that just misses Greyjoy's sensitive parts.
Greyjoy looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Greyjoy moves out of range of the body kick from Arona.

Arona dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Greyjoy. That did some damage!

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Arona.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Arona lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Crunch! Arona slams his shin into Greyjoy's torso.
Arona thows a body kick. Greyjoy tries to catch it but that hurt him.
The crowd cheers as Arona lands an impressive looking overhand right. Greyjoy doesn't seem phased though.

That has opened up Theon Greyjoy's cut even more.
Arona throws a shot from downtown. Greyjoy moves away and avoids it.
Arona misses with a body kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A looping hook to the body misses from Arona. Greyjoy does a little dance to reset his feet.
Arona is looking to slow Greyjoy down with leg kicks.
Greyjoy takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Arona looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Arona throws a body kick that misses.
Arona throws an overhand right that lands on Greyjoy's shoulder, as Greyjoy tries to avoid the shot.
A solid leg kick lands there for Arona.
Arona throws the kick towards the body but Greyjoy avoids it.

An inside leg kick lands from Arona.
Greyjoy moves out of range of the body kick.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Arona breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Arona turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Arona lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A nice inside leg kick there by Arona. That's going to slow Greyjoy down.
Arona dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Greyjoy. That did some damage!

Arona thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Greyjoy if he has to take too many more of those.
Arona misses with a body kick.

Greyjoy gets tackled into the cage by Arona. Arona maintains the clinch.

Arona manages to pull guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Greyjoy connects with a couple of short punches.
Greyjoy trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Arona pulls Greyjoy in close to his closed guard and prevents Greyjoy from doing any damage or advancing position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Arona pushes Greyjoy up against the cage in a clinch.
Greyjoy takes an elbow to the temple.
Arona lands an elbow inside that Greyjoy shrugs off.
Greyjoy is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Arona pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Arona escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Greyjoy moves out of range of the body kick.
Arona scores with a nice body kick.
Greyjoy is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Arona throws a push kick but Greyjoy slaps the foot to one side.

Arona thows a left - swing and a miss!
Arona throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Arona tries to land a front kick but Greyjoy steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Greyjoy is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Arona Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Greyjoy is out cold, face down on the mat!
