The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stigu misses with a straight right.
Stigu thows a left - swing and a miss!
Stigu throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
A head kick misses from Threepwood.
Threepwood misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stigu throws out a leg kick but Threepwood moves out of range and Stigu only half commits.
Threepwood throws a jab but it's blocked by Stigu.
Stigu works Threepwood's body with a nice hook.
Threepwood misses with a low kick.
Threepwood throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Stigu throws a shot from downtown. Threepwood moves away and avoids it.
Threepwood throws a half hearted mid kick.
Threepwood misses with a head kick.
A swing and a miss from Stigu.
Stigu dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Stigu bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

It looks like Guybrush Threepwood has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Threepwood throws the kick towards the body but Stigu avoids it.
Threepwood misses with a head kick.
Threepwood takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Threepwood swings for the body but Stigu moves out of range.
A clash of legs there as Threepwood blocks the low kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Threepwood takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Stigu scores with a leg kick.
Stigu lands with a kick to the ribs.
Threepwood is breathing heavily.
Threepwood on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Stigu dives in and grabs Threepwood's left leg, looking for a takedown. Threepwood pushes down on Stigu's head and hops out.
Stigu lands with a cross.
Stigu connects with a solid leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Threepwood takes a jab right on the kisser.
Threepwood tries a head kick but it misses.
Threepwood takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Stigu works the jab nicely.
Stigu lands with a nice body punch.
Threepwood tries to land a front kick but Stigu steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Stigu ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Stigu throws a solid leg kick but Threepwood takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Stigu.
Sloppy strikes from Stigu. Those never looked like landing.

Stigu feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Threepwood sprawling to the canvas! Threepwood rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Stigu finish him?!

Threepwood is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stigu sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Threepwood's defenses. It connects perfectly with Threepwood's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
