The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good shot there by Cloverleaf.

Cloverleaf closes the distance and clinches.
Supko prevents the takedown attempt.
Supko tries to land knees in the clinch but Cloverleaf avoids the damage to the body.
Supko gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Cloverleaf.
Cloverleaf changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Supko fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ken Cloverleaf. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Supko throws a right and a left that both miss.
Cloverleaf lands with a cross.


It looks like Ben Supko has been cut.
Supko throws a series of punches but Cloverleaf moves out of range.
Supko moves out of range of the strikes.
Supko wants to clinch up but Cloverleaf keeps it at a distance.
Cloverleaf misses with a double jab.

It looks like Ken Cloverleaf has been cut.
Cloverleaf looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Cloverleaf thuds a left hand into Supko's body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The fighters circling - Cloverleaf throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Cloverleaf displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Supko throws out the jab.

Supko gets a clinch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Supko.
Supko connects with a knee to the head.
Cloverleaf wants a takedown.

Cloverleaf pulls guard effortlessly.
Supko must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Supko scoring with some ground and pound.
Cloverleaf controls Supko momentarily but Supko frees himself.
Cloverleaf is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Cloverleaf is breathing heavily.
Supko wanted to stand there but Cloverleaf had control of the position.

Supko gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Cloverleaf closes the distance and clinches.

Supko with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Cloverleaf is trying to break the clinch but Supko has him pressed against the cage.
Supko unloads a knee to the mid-section. Cloverleaf lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Supko scores with a knee to the head.
Supko's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Supko lands an uppercut.

Cloverleaf goes for a takedown in the clinch but Supko prevents it.
Supko landing knees to the head.
Supko stalling in the clinch.

Cloverleaf takes a shot to the head.
Supko is working Cloverleaf over against the cage.
Supko works on Cloverleaf's body with a couple of short punches.
Cloverleaf is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Supko pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Cloverleaf tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Supko smiles and moves away.
Ben Supko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cloverleaf misses with the combination.
Supko throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Cloverleaf's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cloverleaf lands with a nice combination. Supko backs away looking to recover.
Cloverleaf misses with a two punch combination.
Nice body punch from Supko.
Cloverleaf displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.


Supko is rocked!
Donk. Cloverleaf catches Supko right on the button with a cross.
Supko is still on wobbly legs! Can Cloverleaf finish him?
A lazy left from Cloverleaf finds it's target.
Cloverleaf throws a body kick that misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Supko lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Cloverleaf can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Supko and Cloverleaf drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Supko.
