The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Richards clinches.

Richards pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Martinsson throws a looping overhand right but Richards ducks down to avoid it.
Richards throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Martinsson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Richards throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Martinsson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Keijo Richards seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Richards tries to land a front kick but Martinsson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Richards will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Richards swats away the attempt to clinch by Martinsson.
Richards throws a front kick aimed at Martinsson's knee but Martinsson avoids it well.
Martinsson loads up on a big right hand but Richards slips the punch.

Martinsson looks for the body kick but Richards saw that one coming.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Richards drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Richards looks for the body kick but Martinsson saw that one coming.

Martinsson throws a powerful right kick. Richards tried to block low but the kick was high! Richards was taken right off of his feet! Martinsson jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
