The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamesake takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Belmonte clobbers Kamesake with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Belmonte throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Belmonte connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kamesake. Kamesake circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Crunch! Kamesake slams his shin into Belmonte's torso.
Belmonte connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

It looks like Kinitto Kamesake has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kamesake fails with an attempt to clinch.

Belmonte fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kamesake checks it well.
Belmonte lands a really nice looking cross but Kamesake seems unphased.
Belmonte connects with a nice looking jab.
Belmonte will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
and Belmonte counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Kamesake! He's just covering up as Belmonte starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

After winning the bout, Rodrigo Belmonte thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
