Harrison is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: invasion alert. Nick Ernest has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Nick Ernest!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Benjamin Harrison!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ernest.
Ernest takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Ernest is trying hard to land a takedown here. Harrison sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Harrison fails with a takedown attempt.
Harrison tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ernest sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Harrison somewhat.

Harrison decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Ernest manages to get to full guard.
Ernest avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Harrison trying to control the position from guard on top but Ernest is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Harrison throws a big right hand that misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Ernest is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Ernest is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Harrison is aware though and is defending well.
Ernest really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Harrison avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Ernest looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Harrison has picked Ernest up and slammed him! Ernest can't keep hold of the triangle and Harrison manages to pass to side control!

Harrison in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Ernest is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Benjamin Harrison!
Benjamin Harrison decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
