Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zmesan Borec (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Horst van Bommel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Borec comes to the cage accompanied by Carl orff - o fortuna. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Paul Tew and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borec dodges the punch combination from van Bommel.
Borec misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
van Bommel throws a series of punches but Borec avoids them all with ease.
Borec swats away the attempt to clinch by van Bommel.
van Bommel throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
van Bommel wants to clinch.

Borec bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on van Bommel's face as Borec controls the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Borec postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Borec is working van Bommel over with some ground and pound from side control.
Borec creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
You can see the frustration on van Bommel's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Borec is chipping away with strikes.

van Bommel is not content to let Borec control the position.

van Bommel misses with a strike from the bottom.

Borec in side control lands a decent elbow.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Borec lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear van Bommel down.
van Bommel pushes Borec away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Borec gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Borec has hold of van Bommel's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! van Bommel tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Borec cranks the arm and van Bommel screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from van Bommel, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
