Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wilfredo Newman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwayne Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Howard's choice of entrance music: Immortality by Pearl Jam. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newman lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Newman scores with the left hand. Howard knows he should have avoided that one.
Howard uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Newman.
Newman misses with a jab, cross combination.
Howard throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Newman.
Newman moves out of range of the body kick from Howard.
Newman misses with a hook. Howard ducked under it nicely.
Newman misses with an uppercut
and Howard cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Newman swings widly with a right hand
and Howard counters with a series of strikes. Newman will be more careful next time no doubt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Howard scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Howard takes a swing at Newman's ribcage but misses.
Nice defenses there by Howard.
Newman moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Newman throws a hook to the side of Howard's head but Howard sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A solid leg kick lands there for Newman.
A swing and a miss from Newman.
Newman takes one on the button.

Howard lands a left and a right that send Newman crashing to the mat, dazed. Howard thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Newman is rocked!

It looks like Wilfredo Newman has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Newman misses with a left hand
and Howard counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Newman off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Howard follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Newman was out before he hit the floor.

Dwayne Howard took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
