Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Kooch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kooch's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Rusko - Tru Powwa. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Henry Thompson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kooch will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A jab from Kooch finds it's way through Thompson's defenses.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Thompson is pressed up against the cage. Kooch has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Thompson down to the mat. Thompson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Thompson lands a really nice looking cross but Kooch seems unphased.
Kooch throws a nice looking combination but Thompson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kooch lands a jab to the nose.
Kooch gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Kooch is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Thompson looking to break Kooch's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Kooch remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Thompson will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Thompson is looking for the choke from the back position but Kooch is controlling his hands well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Thompson controls Kooch momentarily but Kooch frees himself.

Kooch looks to score with a jab to the body but Thompson is just out of range.
Mike Kooch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thompson wants to clinch.
Kooch will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Thompson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kooch tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Thompson is in Kooch's guard.

Thompson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kooch manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Thompson is working to tighten is grip on Kooch's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Kooch has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Thompson is really squeezing tight and eventually Kooch passes out! Thompson breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
