Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Maximus Merceli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doctor Rockzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rockzo has chosen I'm Just a Rock 'n' Roll Clown -by- Doctor Rockzo as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Maximus Merceli!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Doctor Rockzo!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Merceli tries for a takedown but Rockzo circles away easily
and Merceli takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Rockzo throws a right and a left that both miss.
Rockzo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Merceli was well out of range. Poor timing from Rockzo.
Merceli with a lazy takedown attempt
and Rockzo counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Merceli's guard now.
Rockzo passes Merceli's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Merceli is refusing to be controlled, as Rockzo sits in half guard.
Rockzo throwing shots but Merceli is blocking nicely.
Rockzo is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Merceli moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rockzo working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Rockzo trying to control the position from guard on top but Merceli is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Rockzo is in close to Merceli's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Rockzo is looking to work some ground and pound but Merceli has wrist control.
Rockzo trying to control but Merceli is working from the bottom.
Rockzo cracks Merceli with a solid left hand.
Rockzo forces his way into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rockzo lands strikes from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rockzo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Merceli doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rockzo.
Rockzo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rockzo seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Merceli tries to roll over but Rockzo keeps him under control.
Rockzo wants to advance to full mount but Merceli doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Rockzo slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Rockzo sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Merceli is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Rockzo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Merceli is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Rockzo is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Merceli looks calm but he's in trouble here. Rockzo gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Merceli is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Rockzo lets go of the hold and Merceli can pop his arm back in it's socket.
