The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Dixon. No joy for Faber on that attempt.

Dixon got a little sloppy there for a moment and Faber has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dixon has managed to get both his arms back between Faber's legs - danger averted.
Faber pulls Dixon in close to his closed guard and prevents Dixon from doing any damage or advancing position.

Faber had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dixon defends it easily.
