Kharma has chosen Kharma Killer by Killswitch Engage as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. High Hopes has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopes misses with a wild body shot.
Hopes keeps Kharma at a distance using the push kick.

Kharma closes the distance and pushes Hopes back into the cage.
Hopes wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kharma has him pressed against the cage.
Hopes tries to pull guard but Kharma holds him up against the cage and eventually Hopes drops back down to his feet.
Kharma pushes Hopes back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Hopes tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kharma just stands there and leans against the cage.
Hopes is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Kharma to keep the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for High Hopes. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kharma creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Hopes with a big uppercut! Hopes tries to clinch up but Kharma pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Hopes to the mat! Hopes covers up and Kharma unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
