Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zbigniew Mlotek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akuku Kukula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mlotek comes to the cage accompanied by The Prodigy - Their Law. Akuku Kukula told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Zbigniew Mlotek!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Akuku Kukula!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Illya Tyunina and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kukula scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
A jab from Mlotek misses.
A head kick misses from Mlotek.
Kukula rushes Mlotek and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Kukula stalling.
Mlotek throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kukula blocks it with crossed arms.
Kukula's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kukula displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mlotek throws out the jab.

Kukula is looking to clinch.
Kukula tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Mlotek manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kukula is defended easily by Mlotek.
Nice takedown defense from Mlotek. No joy for Kukula on that attempt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kukula breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kukula does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

The fighters circling - Mlotek throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Mlotek misses the shot to the body.
Mlotek tries to bum rush Kukula with a series of wild strikes but Kukula uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kukula moves forwards but Mlotek connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Kukula takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A left lands for Mlotek.
Kukula defending well as Mlotek loads up on a big left hand.
Mlotek misses with an uppercut. Kukula saw that one coming.
A slow jab from Mlotek misses its intended target.
Zbigniew Mlotek is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kukula fails with a takedown attempt.

Kukula lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Mlotek misses with some punches.
Kukula is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kukula wants a takedown but no success here.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Mlotek.
A body shot lands from Kukula.

Kukula tries to pull guard but Mlotek forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
The referee calls for Mlotek to work.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Mlotek takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Mlotek scores with a hook to the body. Kukula takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Mlotek throws a hook but Kukula blocks it.
Mlotek is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Mlotek misses with a looping right.
Zbigniew Mlotek is winning the standup battle so far.
Kukula tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mlotek swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kukula gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Mlotek.

Kukula tries to clinch there but Mlotek circles away.
Kukula is still on wobbly legs! Can Mlotek finish him?
Akuku Kukula is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
A swing and a miss from Mlotek.
Mlotek missing with a left hand there. Kukula was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kukula steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mlotek.
Kukula slips under a jab.
Mlotek is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Kukula shoots in looking for a takedown but Mlotek manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kukula's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Mlotek throws an overhand right that has Kukula reeling! Mlotek follows up with more punches and Kukula is out cold! This one is all over!
