Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steven Burnett!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madik slaps away a takedown attempt from Burnett, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Madik looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Burnett shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Madik defends it nicely.
Madik defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Burnett.
Sook Madik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steven Burnett.
Burnett shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Burnett was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Madik tries to reverse the position but Burnett maintains control.
Madik is squirming around, avoiding Burnett's attempts to control the action.
Burnett is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.
Burnett is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Burnett trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Madik is working to get back to half guard.
Burnett wants to control the pace but Madik is squirming around nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Burnett is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Madik regains half guard.
Burnett wants to stand but Madik has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Steven Burnett wasn't active enough on the ground.
Burnett dives in and grabs Madik's left leg, looking for a takedown. Madik pushes down on Burnett's head and hops out.
Burnett feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Madik is looking for a triangle but Burnett pushes his legs off easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Madik has a closed guard, preventing Burnett from standing up.
Madik pushes a forearm under Burnett's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Burnett is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
