Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Josh Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Urijah Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes into the arena with Picture me Rollin blaring out of the sound system. Faber has chosen California Love as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson has his takedown stuffed

and Faber counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Faber.
Johnson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Faber controls the pace.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Faber's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Faber is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Faber trying to control the position from guard on top but Johnson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Johnson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Faber is aware though and is defending well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Faber has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Johnson to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Faber is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Johnson pulls down on the head and he's put Faber to sleep! This one is all over!

After the fight, Josh Johnson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
