Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jon Fitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaemin Jeong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fitch comes to the cage accompanied by Till I Collapse- Eminem. Jeong has chosen Itaewon Freedom - UV feat JY Park as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jaemin Jeong!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitch on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Jeong throws a nice inside leg kick.
Fitch ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jeong moves away.
A cross from Fitch lands.
Fitch blocks the body kick.
Jeong is looking to land body kicks.
Jeong shoots in for a double leg but Fitch sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Fitch moves out of range of the strikes.
Jaemin Jeong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jeong throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Jeong tries to work over Fitch's front leg with a kick but Fitch checks it.
Jeong uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fitch.

Jeong misses with a takedown attempt - Fitch sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Fitch scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Fitch is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jeong.
Jeong throws a leg kick which misses Fitch's front leg but catches the back leg as Fitch tries to avoid it.
Fitch blocks a low kick nicely.
Jeong shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jeong showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Jeong prevents Fitch from improving his position.
Fitch is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jeong's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jeong's back!

Fitch has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Jeong has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Fitch knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jeong on the ground.
Fitch is trying to stick to Jeong's back but Jeong is turning into Fitch. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Fitch's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Jeong.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jeong passes into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jeong is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Fitch sees it coming and defends easily.

Fitch tries to roll over but Jeong keeps him under control.
Jeong not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Fitch has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jeong is working away from the top position though.
Fitch is holding on to half guard well.
Fitch moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Jeong is pushing down on Fitch's leg trying to pass to half guard. Fitch is fighting to maintain full guard but Jeong has managed to sneak the leg through.

Fitch throws a jab but it's blocked by Jeong.

Jeong steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fitch.
Jeong tries for a takedown but Fitch sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

A telegraphed right hand from Jeong misses the target.
Fitch avoids the head kick by Jeong.
Fitch connects with a single shot there.
Fitch has taken the fight to the clinch.
Fitch can't find room to land a body shot as Jeong controls the action.
Fitch misses with a hook to the ribs.
Fitch misses with a body punch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jeong throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Fitch blocks it with crossed arms.

Fitch pushes Jeong back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Fitch tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Jeong tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Fitch avoids it.
Fitch turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Jeong tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Fitch wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Jeong tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Fitch throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jeong is looking to land body kicks.
Jeong bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Jeong tries a head kick but it misses.
Jeong will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Fitch looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Fitch looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jeong with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Jaemin Jeong tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
