Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hoshiko Takara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Az Anubis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takara comes to the cage accompanied by Heartbeats. Anubis has chosen Lil B - The Age Of Information as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takara misses with a body kick.
Nice jab there from Takara.
Anubis scores with a leg kick.
A low kick from Anubis is predictable there
letting Takara counter with a right hand.

It looks like Az Anubis has been cut.
Takara showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Anubis.
Takara avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Anubis takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Sloppy strikes from Anubis. Those never looked like landing.
Anubis swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Takara counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Az Anubis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Anubis misses with a shot to the body
and Takara counters with a slapping leg kick.
Anubis buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Takara scores with a jab.
Anubis throws a nice looking combination but Takara bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Anubis tries to clinch up.

Anubis motions for Takara to come forward. Anubis throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
A low kick from Anubis is predictable there
and Takara counters with an inside leg kick.
Takara does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Takara bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Takara connects with a nice looking jab.
Takara works the jab nicely.
Takara scores with a sloppy right hand. Anubis should have avoided that one.
Takara uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Anubis has time to react.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Takara throws a shot to the body.
Takara lands a nice leg kick that just misses Anubis's sensitive parts.
Takara thumps Anubis with a low kick.
Anubis lands a leg kick that knocks Takara off balance momentarily.
Takara keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Takara uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Anubis.
Takara takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Takara clobbers Anubis with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Anubis is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Anubis is rocked!
Takara is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Anubis throws a leg kick
and Takara makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Anubis really felt that one!
Anubis looks gassed!
Anubis gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Takara gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
