Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ben Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chras Watsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gordon kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Parkway Drive - Frostbite. Ben Gordon is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watsky checks a leg kick.
Watsky is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gordon sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Watsky looks to clinch
and Watsky takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Watsky tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Gordon manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Watsky fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gordon manages to avoid it.
Watsky ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Watsky will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Gordon up against the cage.

Watsky's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
No luck for Gordon with that takedown attempt.

Gordon cracks Watsky with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Gordon will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Watsky doesn't manage to clinch there - Gordon circles away.

Gordon connects with a looping right hand.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Gordon counters with a left and a right that stings Watsky.

Watsky tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gordon paws at him with a jab and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Ben Gordon will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Watsky fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Gordon avoids a punch combination nicely.
Chras Watsky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gordon forces Watsky back against the cage and clinches.
Gordon is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Gordon managing to block the knees to the body from Watsky.
Gordon wants to break the clinch but can't.

Watsky escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Watsky doesn't manage to clinch there - Gordon circles away.
Gordon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Watsky throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gordon.
Watsky changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gordon tries to avoid it but Watsky manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gordon to the ground. Gordon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Gordon throws a low kick but it's checked well by Watsky.
Gordon just misses with a punch to the body.
A combination from Gordon does no damage.

Gordon feints and as Watsky raises his hands in defense, Gordon changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Gordon passes Watsky's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Gordon wants to control but Watsky is keeping him busy.
Gordon is really struggling to control Watsky but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Gordon uses his free foot to push down on Watsky's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Watsky.
Watsky takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Gordon sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Gordon working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Watsky really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gordon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Watsky stops Gordon from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

Gordon is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Watsky is forced to tap! Great finish!

A relieved looking Ben Gordon thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
