No luck with that takedown attempt from Rezo.
Matthews connects with the punch.

Matthews rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rezo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rezo shoots in for a takedown but Matthews shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Theo Matthews has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Axe Rezo.
Matthews fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Matthews's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Matthews duly obliges.
Rezo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Matthews manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Rezo fails with an attempt to clinch.

Matthews drops back looking for a leg! Rezo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rezo manages to kick Matthews off! Matthews jumps back into Rezo's guard.

Matthews drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Matthews as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Rezo screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Matthews! Nice submission victory there!
