Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ping Petunia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Vector (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ping Petunia has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vector throws a head kick but Petunia moves out of range.
Nice sprawl there from Vector as Petunia shoots in.
A nice inside leg kick there by Vector. That's going to slow Petunia down.

and Petunia counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Petunia drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Petunia jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Petunia is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Vector is just riding it out for now. Petunia eventually gives up the hold.

Petunia is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Petunia is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Vector reverses the position - he's now on top in Petunia's guard.
Vector really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Petunia. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Petunia has his foot on Vector's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vector works his way back into a safe position though.
Vector is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Petunia is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Petunia is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Petunia is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Vector doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Petunia.

Petunia shoots in looking for a takedown. Vector tries to sprawl out of it but Petunia keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Vector manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Vector throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Petunia.

Petunia sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Petunia shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

I would just about give that final round to Victor Vector.
I think Vector has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
