PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zak Drezner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Desmond Grey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Drezner might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Cypress Hill - Checkmate. Zak Drezner has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Grey.
Grey punishes Drezner's body with a nice straight punch.
Grey is looking to score with low kicks.
Drezner lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Grey backs up against the cage.
Drezner misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Grey.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Drezner is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Grey shoots in for a double leg but Drezner sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Drezner lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Grey has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Grey and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close round but I would say that Zak Drezner will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Drezner lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Grey circles away quickly and effectively.
