The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Williams scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Williams has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Logan Driver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Williams closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Driver's guard.

Driver looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Williams passes into half guard.
Driver really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Williams. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Williams is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Driver throws a strike but has given up his back in the process.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Williams working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Driver is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Williams has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Driver taps out!
