Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Logan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and General Zod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zod is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Kneel Before Zod. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Logan drops Zod with a right and a left! Logan comes rushing in but Zod regains his composure and manages to keep Logan in guard.

Zod is rocked!
Logan wants to get up but he can't break Zod's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Zod is still in real trouble! Can Logan finish him?
Logan trying to control the position from guard on top but Zod is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Zod seems to have recovered his senses.
Logan wants to stand and escape but instead Zod has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Zod with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Zod postures up and lands a big shot to Logan's brow.
Zod has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Logan is looking to stand up but Zod isn't so interested in that idea.

Zod thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Logan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zod on the ground.

Zod drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Zod jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Zod prevents Logan from getting back to his feet.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Zod distracts Logan with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Logan controls Zod momentarily but Zod frees himself.

Logan wants to stand and escape but Zod is having none of it.
Zod pushing down on Logan's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Logan on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Logan tries to get out of the position.
Zod slows the pace down in half guard.
Zod trying to control the action but Logan is working from the bottom.
Zod slips a nice elbow through Logan's hands, connecting with Logan's forehead.
Zod prevents Logan from standing back up.
Zod working Logan over with strikes.
Zod stops Logan from getting back to his feet.
Logan scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Zod manages to mount him!
Zod mounts Logan! Really nice guard pass there!
Logan has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
Logan is breathing heavily.

Zod has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Logan! Can he survive? No! He's out! Zod gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
