Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ortega throws a head kick that misses.
Ortega avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ortega moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Ortega swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Jones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ortega lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Ortega fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jones, pushing him back against the ropes.

Ortega seems frustrated at his inability to get double underhooks.

Jones's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Ortega on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Ortega breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ortega feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Joness jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Ortega moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Jones throws a head kick but Ortega moves out of range.
Jones throws a lazy uppercut

and Ortega counters by moving into the clinch.
Ortega is pushing Jones up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Jones tries to pull guard but Ortega holds him up against the ropes and eventually Jones drops back down to his feet.
Ortega lands with a short head shot on the inside.
The referee is keeping an eye on Ortega - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Jones is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes.

Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ortega works Jones's body with a nice hook.
Jones misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Ortega lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Ortega should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Ortega takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Jones has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ortega after a bit of a struggle.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jones sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ortega connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jones's hands.

Ortega lands with a big right hook that stumbles Jones - he's out on his feet here! Ortega follows up with another monster hook that separates Jones from consciousness! Jones falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Ortega stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
