Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tap Out (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Twister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tony Twister will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tap Out!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tony Twister!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Twister smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Tap Out seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Out.
Out throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Out scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Twister moves out of range of the body kick.
Out throws a body kick that misses.
Out lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Twister works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Twister throws a hook but Out blocks it.
Out throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Out swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Out takes a swing at Twister's ribcage but misses.
A slapping body kick lands there for Out.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Twister digs a good hook to Out's body.

Out lands a front kick.
Twister connects with a single shot there.
Twister throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Out thuds a left hand into Twister's body.
Out misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Twister counters with a straight right hand.
Out swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Twister counters with a nice uppercut.
Twister just misses with a punch to the body.
Twister thows a body shot but no joy.
Sloppy strikes from Out. Those never looked like landing.
No luck for Twister with that takedown attempt.
Twister has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Twister keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Out throws a low kick, looking for Twister's leg but Twister calmly moves out of range.
Twister takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Out throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Out fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Twister manages to avoid it.
Twister wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A looping hook to the body misses from Out. Twister does a little dance to reset his feet.
Out throws a leg kick which misses Twister's front leg but catches the back leg as Twister tries to avoid it.
Twister is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Out.

and Twister counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Out uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Twister.

Twister throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Twister bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Twister goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Out has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Twister but great work by Out.
Twister can't do much from the bottom here.

Out decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Out rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Twister moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Out connects with the punch.
Out throws a chopping leg kick but Twister manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Out is looking to wear down Twister with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Out falls off balance throwing a combination
and Twister cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Out looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Twister avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Out loads up on a big right hand but Twister slips the punch.

and Twister counters with a left to the body.

Twister lands with a good body shot.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Nice uppercut lands for Twister. That snapped Out's head back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Twister closes the distance and clinches up with Out, looking for a takedown. Twister pushes Out against the cage but Out circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tap Out is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Out takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Out misses with a combination
and Twister counters with a left to the body.

Out has control of Twister's left arm, preventing Twister from doing any damage.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Twister stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Out swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Out jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Out throws a body kick that misses.
Out misses with the combination.
Out displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Twister throws out the jab.

Twister avoids a punch combination nicely.
Out lands with a cross.
Twister changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Out misses with a body kick.
Tap Out is winning the standup battle so far.
Twister misses with a body shot.
Jab, jab by Out - just one landing.
Out walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Out takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Twister paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Out fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Twister fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Out lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Twister circles away quickly and effectively.
Out misses with a double jab.
Out swings for the body but Twister moves out of range.
Out takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Twister takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Twister moves out of range of the strikes.
Twister scores with a hook to the body. Out takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Twister misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Out.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Out enables Twister to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Out manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Twister is working for a kimura but Out is defending it quite comfortably.

Twister is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Out still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Out has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A close second round but Tony Twister will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Out goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Out stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Out wants it to stay on the feet.
