Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lance Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Sontag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sontag is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Audioslave-like a stone. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sontag throws a body punch but Stevens moves out of range.
Stevens moves forwards but Sontag connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Stevens throws a right hand that Sontag ducks under and follows up with a left that Sontag also avoids with ease.
Sontag fails to land the takedown.
Sontag shoots in looking for a takedown. Stevens tries to sprawl out of it but Sontag keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stevens manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Stevens stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sontag swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sontag is landing with some decent strikes but Stevens is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
