Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jhonny Cage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Activin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cage has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Jhonny Cage has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Activin gets the takedown into side control.
Activin scores with punches from side control.
Activin is looking to take a break and control but Cage is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Activin scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Cage to see if he's OK.
Cage is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Activin lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Cage down.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Cage takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Cage takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Activin connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Cage some visible discomfort.
