Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zacharius Pendragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slev Muncrief (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slev Muncrief has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pendragon fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Muncrief sprawls well initially but Pendragon persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Muncrief should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Pendragon is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Pendragon gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

Muncrief gets caught napping as Pendragon dives in and scores a takedown. Muncrief manages to retain guard.

Pendragon decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Muncrief, up you get!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Muncrief tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pendragon sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Muncrief somewhat.

Pendragon feints and as Muncrief raises his hands in defense, Pendragon changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Pendragon drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pendragon jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Pendragon will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Pendragon gets to his feet. Muncrief looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Pendragon shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Muncrief napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Pendragon stands up and beckons Muncrief to his feet.

Pendragon fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Muncrief to the ground. Pendragon is now in Muncrief's guard.
Muncrief looks gassed!

Pendragon drops back looking for a leg! Muncrief is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Muncrief manages to kick Pendragon off! Pendragon jumps back into Muncrief's guard.

Pendragon stands up from Muncrief's guard - Pendragon perhaps looking for a knockout.

Pendragon closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Pendragon lands in his opponent's guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Pendragon is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Muncrief's half guard.

Pendragon tries to pass the half guard into mount. Muncrief knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Pendragon wants to control but Muncrief is keeping him busy.

Pendragon changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Muncrief looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pendragon manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Muncrief on his heels. He'll look to pass Muncrief's guard now, I'm sure.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Muncrief has eaten all the pies!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
