Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Methuselah Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Kappa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Couture kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is wait, nvmnd! thats just the tapping of his cane as he walks.. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kappa missing with a left hand there. Couture was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Couture throws a looping overhand right but Kappa ducks down to avoid it.

Kappa lands a really nice looking cross but Couture seems unphased.

Couture utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Couture looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Kappa wants to pass the guard but Couture is keeping the position.

Couture is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kappa in particular looking to stall.
Kappa is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Couture reverses the position - he's now on top in Kappa's guard.

Couture will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
