Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Theodore Walcott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Garreth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kevin Garreth was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Theodore Walcott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kevin Garreth!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garreth feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Walcott's calf.
Garreth fails in his attempt to clinch.
Walcott stuffs the takedown.
Garreth throws a combination. Walcott tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
No joy there for Garreth, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Garreth shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Walcott counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Garreth!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Garreth is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

The referee warns Garreth that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Walcott postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Garreth in real trouble here! The ref calls for Garreth to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Theodore Walcott!
