Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Derek Scully (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Mega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mega is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Black and Yellow. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mega digs a good body shot into Scully's ribs.

Scully is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Mega can't fight it off and eventually Scully manages to take the fight to the floor. Mega looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Scully pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mega is keeping the position for now.
Mega really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Scully. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Scully accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Scully tries to free his leg and advance position but Mega is retaining full guard.
Scully wants to control from the top but Mega keeps moving.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Scully prevents Mega from getting back to his feet.
Mega can't keep his opponent in guard - Scully advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Scully wants to free his trapped foot but Mega is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Max Mega showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Scully looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
