Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zef Tanghe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Foreman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Zef Tanghe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Aaron Foreman!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Donatello Bradman and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foreman misses with a double jab
enabling Tanghe to counter with a crisp jab.
Foreman throws out a loose jab but Tanghe uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tanghe uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Foreman.
Foreman lands with a nice body punch.
Foreman stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Foreman wants it to stay on the feet.
Tanghe throws a half hearted mid kick.

Tanghe scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Tanghe wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Foreman, who protects the arm well.
Foreman dodges the ground and pound from Tanghe.
Foreman stops Tanghe from passing to mount.

Tanghe prevents Foreman from escaping the position.
Tanghe is looking to take a break and control but Foreman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
You can see the frustration on Foreman's face as Tanghe controls the position.
Foreman parries the strikes from Tanghe easily there. Tanghe is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Foreman to escape.
Foreman is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

The ground and pound from Tanghe seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Foreman is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Tanghe has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Foreman pushes Tanghe away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Tanghe gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Tanghe is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Foreman knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Tanghe has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Tanghe is looking to take a break and control but Foreman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Tanghe fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Foreman has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Tanghe tries for a takedown but Foreman sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Foreman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Tanghe rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Foreman moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Foreman is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tanghe.

Tanghe looks to throw the jab but Foreman is out of range.

Aaron Foreman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Foreman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tanghe swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Tanghe looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Zef Tanghe has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Tanghe looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Zef Tanghe.
I think Tanghe has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
