Roberts is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Isaiah Jacobs Jr has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobs Jr tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Roberts is breathing heavily.
Jacobs Jr tries to clinch but Roberts is having none of it.
Roberts tries to sprawl but Jacobs Jr drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Jacobs Jr is trying to control. Roberts wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Jacobs Jr is working for a submission of some sort.
Jacobs Jr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Roberts. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Roberts is staying active underneath Jacobs Jr, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jacobs Jr tries to pass to full mount but Roberts defends it.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Isaiah Jacobs Jr was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Roberts shoots in for a double leg but Jacobs Jr sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jacobs Jr throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jacobs Jr misses with a low kick as Roberts jumps back.
Jacobs Jr throws a series of punches but Roberts avoids them all with ease.
Roberts feints and as Jacobs Jr raises his hands in defense, Roberts changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Roberts really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Roberts drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Roberts jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Roberts is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Roberts drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Roberts jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Roberts postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jacobs Jr is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Roberts, into his guard.

Jacobs Jr is sitting in close to Roberts's body. Roberts has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Jacobs Jr is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Jacobs Jr is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Roberts.
