Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kid Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akira Tetsou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Akira Tetsou has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kid Torres! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Akira Tetsou! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tetsou shoots in for a takedown but Torres shows good takedown defense. Torres throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A head kick misses from Torres. Torres tries to clinch but Tetsou moves out of range. Torres throws a head kick that misses. Torres tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Torres throws a right hand that Tetsou ducks under and follows up with a left that Tetsou also avoids with ease. Tetsou shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Torres as he avoids it easily. Torres scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Tetsou shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Torres pinned against the cage. Torres gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Kid Torres has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Akira Tetsou. Torres tries to clinch but Tetsou is having none of it. Torres is looking to clinch but Tetsou is avoiding it.
Torres stuffs the takedown attempt from Tetsou. Tetsou gets slowly back to his feet. Tetsou shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Torres but Torres pushes him off and we're back to square one. Tetsou shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Torres as he avoids it easily. Tetsou fails with the takedown. Torres throws a right hand that Tetsou ducks under and follows up with a left that Tetsou also avoids with ease. Torres gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Torres connects with a knee to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Torres breaks from the clinch.
Tetsou throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Torres's waist but Torres gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tetsou off to one side. Tetsou looks gassed! Torres lands with a cross. Tetsou chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Torres can pounce on him.
Torres misses with a few strikes there.
Tetsou tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Torres swivels and escapes. Torres takes the fight into the clinch. Torres breaks the clinch.
Torres moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Torres stuffs the takedown attempt from Tetsou. Tetsou gets slowly back to his feet. Torres scores with a three punch combo!
Tetsou shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Tetsou tries to free his leg and advance position but Torres is retaining full guard. Tetsou trying to control but Torres is working from the bottom. Tetsou has gone for a leg lock! Torres slips out almost immediately though and dives into Tetsou's guard. Tetsou wants to sweep here but Torres controlling him for the moment. Torres stands and throws Tetsou's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Torres wants to stand but Tetsou has his arm trapped. Tetsou manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Torres is in trouble now - Tetsou has advanced to mount! Torres stops Tetsou from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Torres is trying to get back to his feet but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tetsou looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Torres is trying desperately to improve position. Tetsou trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Torres tries to get back to half guard but can't. Tetsou takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Tetsou has his arm under Torres's chin here. Game over son! Tetsou squeezes tightly and Torres is forced to tap out!
