Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Catfish Davis!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

James is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Davis pulls his head out easily.

James is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Davis lands a couple of elbows.

James decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

James is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Davis defends it well.
James gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
James throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Davis stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

James looks to land a combination but Davis avoids it well.
Davis uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from James.
James scores with a shot to the body.
James fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
James slaps away a takedown attempt from Davis, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Davis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. James tries to avoid it but Davis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag James to the ground. James escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
James takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Nice takedown defense from James. No joy for Davis on that attempt.

Davis is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Davis shoots in but no luck this time.

James looks to throw the jab but Davis is out of range.
Davis has a takedown stuffed.
Davis closes the distance and clinches up with James, looking for a takedown. Davis pushes James against the cage but James circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
James lands a nice shot to the body.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
James shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Davis is trying to defend but James finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Davis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around James's waist but James gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Davis off to one side.
James James has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Catfish Davis.

and Davis takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Davis is rocked!
Davis takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
James thows a left - swing and a miss!
Davis ducks under a wild hook from James.
James throws a jab but it's blocked by Davis.

James lands a jab to the head.
Davis is still on wobbly legs! Can James finish him?
James pounces like a tiger and cracks Davis with a vicious hook! Davis is down but not out! James follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
