Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matrim Cauthon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Agung Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kang drives through with a takedown into guard.
Cauthon is trying to keep Kang in close.
Cauthon preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Kang stops Cauthon from standing up.
Kang trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Kang throws a big elbow that misses.
Cauthon is trying to hold Kang in close to prevent damage but Kang has managed to pass into half guard.
Cauthon tries to roll over but Kang keeps him under control.

Kang wants to work for an arm triangle but Cauthon is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Cauthon on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cauthon tries to get out of the position.

Cauthon kicks Kang off and gets back to his feet.
Cauthon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kang dives in and grabs Cauthon's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cauthon pushes down on Kang's head and hops out.
Cauthon throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Kang ducks under a wild hook from Cauthon.
Kang misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Kang takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Kang feints and as Cauthon raises his hands in defense, Kang changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Kang is looking to work some ground and pound but Cauthon has wrist control.

Cauthon will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Kang is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cauthon is just riding it out for now. Kang eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kang thows a huge punch but Cauthon dodges it nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Agung Kang dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Kang shoots for a double leg takedown but Cauthon sprawls well. He's pushed Kang's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Cauthon is looking to slow Kang down with leg kicks.
Cauthon pivots, looking for a leg kick but Kang is out of range and Cauthon settles back down.
Kang tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cauthon sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kang somewhat.
Cauthon misses with a body shot.
Cauthon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kang.
Cauthon stuns Kang with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Kang misses with a lunging right hand
and Cauthon counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kang thinking.
Cauthon keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Cauthon stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Kang shoots in for a double leg but Cauthon sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Matrim Cauthon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Agung Kang.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cauthon cracks Kang with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.

Kang takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Cauthon throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kang sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Cauthon leaves Kang with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kang tries to move into range but Cauthon moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Cauthon is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Kang misses with a takedown attempt - Cauthon sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Kang walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Kang moves out of range as Cauthon strikes.
Kang's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Cauthon connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kang scrambles back to his feet.
Cauthon throws an overhand right that lands on Kang's shoulder, as Kang tries to avoid the shot.
Kang shoots in for a takedown but Cauthon shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Cauthon is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Cauthon is looking to stand up but Kang isn't so interested in that idea.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
