Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Samir Nasri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guthrum Svavarsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Svavarsson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Svavarsson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Svavarsson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nasri swivels and escapes.
Svavarsson fails with a takedown attempt.
Samir Nasri has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Guthrum Svavarsson.
Nasri cracks Svavarsson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Svavarsson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nasri tries to avoid it but Svavarsson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nasri to the ground. Nasri escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Svavarsson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nasri stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Nasri works the jab nicely.
Svavarsson ducks under a wild hook from Nasri.
Nasri keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Nasri changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Nasri jabs Svavarsson right on the nose. Svavarsson blinks but takes it well.
Nasri throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Svavarsson.
Nasri looks to land a left hand but Svavarsson moved out of range nicely.
Nasri swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Nasri throws a right and a left that Svavarsson avoids nicely.
Svavarsson is trying desperately to land a takedown but Nasri is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Svavarsson.

Svavarsson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nasri tries to avoid it but Svavarsson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nasri to the ground. Nasri escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Svavarsson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nasri sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Svavarsson somewhat.
Svavarsson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Nasri counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Svavarsson badly! Nasri follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Svavarsson out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Nasri finished him against the cage.
