Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kato Aspenia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wazz Dakka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aspenia has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Dakka.

and Dakka counters with a right hand to the body.
Aspenia throws a leg kick but Dakka checks it.
Dakka's corner calls for a 1-2. Dakka obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Aspenia throws a combination that misses
and Dakka cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Dakka lands with an uppercut that bounces Aspenia off the cage and back into range.
No joy there for Aspenia, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The fight stays on the outside here - Aspenia looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Dakka counters with a nice low kick that buckles Aspenia's knee momentarily.

Aspenia closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Dakka tries to bum rush Aspenia with a series of wild strikes but Aspenia uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kato Aspenia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Aspenia tries to clinch up but Dakka circles away and keeps his distance.

Dakka connects with a right that clearly hurt Aspenia. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Dakka proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Aspenia collapses and taps out under the pressure!
