PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dookie Stainz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Write (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Write comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dark Knight metal theme kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The key to victory for Dookie Stainz has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Write feints and as Stainz raises his hands in defense, Write changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Stainz looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Write trying to control but Stainz is working from the bottom.
Write works over Stainz with some ground and pound from guard.
Write connects with a couple of short punches.
Stainz avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Write working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Write pushes down on Stainz's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Write trying to control the pace.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Write is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Stainz doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Write.
Write winds up and cracks Stainz with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Write is nestled in close to Stainz, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
